    Subject Curriculums

As a community, we share a determined optimism to provide an ambitious education for all students. At Howden, the curriculum sits at the heart of the school and is designed to promote social justice, raise aspirations, and prepare students for post-16 pathways and beyond.

Our five-year curriculum ensures depth, breadth, and progression. Subject specialists carefully sequence knowledge and skills so that learning builds in complexity from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 4. Alongside academic success, we prioritise literacy, numeracy, and personal development through our PSHE and careers programme and wider enrichment opportunities.

Key Stage 3 Curriculum (Years 7–9)
