Howden School

The PSHCE curriculum offers students the opportunity to learn about drug education, financial education, sex and relationship education (SRE) and the importance of physical activity and diet for a healthy lifestyle. It also offers them the chance to reflect on themselves as people, look at post 16 opportunities, employability and careers as well as how to deal with current issues such as cyber bullying.

'At Howden School, we believe that all students should have a holistic educational experience that helps children and young people grow and develop as individuals and as members of families and of social and economic communities.'

Mr S. Hopkin, Subject Leader of PSHCE and PE Teacher
